This picture took me a while bc
1) I'm not used to drawing mlp that often
2) Luna's hair is an ass to draw
3) blackfrost's hair is too long and flowy and I had fun trying to get it right (though I love it)
4) I couldn't find my cyan-green sharpie for chrysalis' hair
5) I lost my red sharpie for blackfrost's hair and had to get another
6) the poses for the both of them was a pain to get right so they won't look like deformed donkeys
7) has to draw the moon large enough to fit nightmare moon's + chrysalis shadows and Luna + BlackFrost flying in it
8) SHADING!!!!!!

And I am done complaining and will let you now enjoy this: chrysalis is blackfrost's mother. Her father was a warrior pegasi who got seduced by chrysalis so that BlackFrost could be born. (Purely to gather love to feed her and her hive as well as to get BlackFrost to become a strong queen of a new hive) Only when they meet for the first time since her birth 17 long years ago does she figure out where her magical abilities come from and her unnatrual ability to change her apperence (discovered by accident)
